My Birthday is rapidly approaching...

On October 31st - And I don't have any firm plans yet!

Some birthday beatings - from me to my purrsonal slaves - are of course in order. But other than that, I'm just not sure this year...

For the last few years my birthdays have been relatively quiet. I had been ill so that's understandable. And I can always cover any feelings of not wanting to celebrate with Halloween cheer (one of the benefits of being born on a major holiday). Dressing up happens no matter what. Ideas? If you were me (and don't you just wish that was true....) what would you do?

Interview with the... Baby Jesus?

How odd is this? Some people "find God" and I can kind of see it, and then there are others who seem so far in the opposite direction that you think it would never happen.

Anne Rice has announced that she has now found God and will only be writing books for the Lord now. Could this be promotion for her newest book that is coming out now? Or the other two that she promised would follow it? Sure (she said with hope draining quickly out of her voice). But it seems kind of serious.

I mention her because she's a really incredible writer - I'm more of a fan of the Vampire novels than her erotic/bdsm-lite stuff - Her next book is "Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt," a novel about the 7-year-old Jesus, narrated by Christ himself.

Scarier than vampires....

Important Petition - The PETS Act

This is a really important petition for everyone to sign...

Tell Congress - while they might be actually thinking about coming up with plans for dealing with natural disasters - to not forget about including provisions for not abandoning pets in disasters!!!

The PETS Act will require federal evacuation plans to protect pets, and it's a good plan for us all - even if you don't like animals it's good for your karma.

The Feline Tarot

I'm actually quite a good reader of tarot cards, having spent a considerable portion of my life until this point entranced by the occult. I'm a bit rusty at not having done readings on a regular basis for awhile, but it's kind of like riding a bicycle...

The purrticular day that these pictures were taken was the day I shot the BDSM video, the Bondage of Miss Fortune. I was all inspired by the idea of destiny, and being at the mercy of the cards.

Lots of rope was used that day, all of the action that you see onscreen quite real - it was her very first video, although she had been a purrsonal slave of mine for some time.

And the Boots Came Back...

Just sold another pair of fetish boots - the ones pictured above. Quite nice really, in that they were very stable (chunky heels, big platforms), but essentially a little on the cheap "stripper" side. They were indeed nice for some thudding kinds of trampling, not to mention that with 7" heels they made me quite considerably tall.

So adieu, my dear boots.

In other boot news, my very first ever pair of fetish boots seem to refuse to leave. I have now sold them 3 times to 3 different boot fetishists and each and every time the monies arrive but without anywhere to ship them. Very odd to happen once, much less three times now. And no complaints or angry emails from the gentlemen who purrchased them. Maybe they're all the same purrson... not that this would be odd, I have had quite the assortment of "admirers" over the years, and been stalked several times, enough to be cautious.

They are quite trashed to be sure - I've owned them for many, many years. I purrchased them from the Magic Shoe Company in England way back when I had to send pound notes through the mail (no internet!) and just hope that they would arrive safely. Then pay a hefty duty as customs could never contain themselves and always ripped open my fetish purrchases. They're thigh high boots, 5" heels and 1" platforms, pointy, black real patent leather, inside zips. Large rips at the back ankle area on both boots from serious wear - those boots have travelled all over the world with me until they were literally hanging on for dear life! Very well-seasoned to be sure.

Being Afraid of BDSM

I am constantly amazed at how incredibly afraid everyone in the USA is about BDSM. Those of us who are involved in the scene don't think anything of it, that it's all consensual and therefore ok. Unfortunately with the current regime, this will protect no one. There is no such thing as a legally-condoned consensual beating...

If you're not involved in the adult website business, you may or may not know about the 2257 laws. And how the government is now prosecuting businesses it deems "obscene". Yes kittens, BDSM sites are among their biggest targets, because even the "straight" porn world thinks that we S&M practitioners are filthy and vile (well, at least long enough to cover their own asses).

So many folks are moving their websites offshore, which only partially deals with the problem. If you or your company are still located here in the US you potentially still have a very real problem, and may have someone knocking on your door late at night. Max Hardcore was recently raided. The operator of NowThatsFuckedUp was arrested. Even an online story site, Red Rose Stories, was shut down by the FBI.

Shouldn't they be searching for terrorists, by the way?

They're even talking about how to kill porn in church now on Porn Sunday, to rid their parishners of evil pornographic thoughts.

Sites, practitioners, and the like - both large and small - are getting out before the witch hunt really starts. I may not like every kind of porn out there but I will fight for it's right to exist (exceptions - kiddie porn and bestiality). Even some larger websites are shutting their doors.

Just because we're BDSM doesn't mean we're not porn. Lets all get that straight. My shoving a dildo up someone's ass is exactly the same (in fact, it's even worse) as being all airbrushed and giving someone a blowjob. We are all in the sex industry and need to all stand together and help each other when we can. This is going to get really, really ugly...
